The Impact Programme’s Impact Measurement and Management Approach

The Impact Programme is pleased to launch its latest publication on impact measurement and management (IMM).

This takes a look at how the IMM approach has evolved over the first five years of the Impact Programme, in which there has been a shift from traditional monitoring and evaluation towards a more dynamic impact management process.

A traditional method is one solely focused on gathering standardised data on key metrics, whereas a dynamic impact management process focuses on collecting information that enables decisions to be made at the business and investor level, which drives further impact creation.

This paper outlines the different phases of this journey, the specific approaches and tools used along the way and shares any key insights and lessons learned.
