Context

The world is facing a potential climate emergency. Financing climate change mitigation, adaptation, and resilience requires a significant increase in investment from both private and public sources. COP26 provides a valuable opportunity to increase the supply of investment capital and to match that capital with market demand.

Scope of Work

Convergence conducted a series of activities to identify and advance blended finance vehicles for climate/environment projects in developing countries that can successfully achieve financial commitments from public, philanthropic and private organizations prior to and during COP 26 in Glasgow in November 2021.
