Context

Recent research shows the enormous, untapped potential of impact investment flows to drive major improvement in lives and on the planet. The GSG aims to bring solutions to social and environmental challenges by spreading the use of impact approaches in making philanthropic, business and investment decisions.

Scope of work

The IMPACT Programme grant will help the GSG to drive widespread awareness, identity, and practice of impact investing in Africa and South Asia through establishing National Advisory Boards (NABs) in the regions. The NABs act as a focal point for impact investors, whilst influencing the local policy and regulatory environments in ways which stimulate increased impact investment and promote impact-investing opportunities to local and international investors.
